To start receiving tips via QR code, you need:

• A smartphone (iPhone or Android)
• An ID document (National ID or Passport)
• An IBAN in your name
• 5 minutes of your time

Minute 1: Download the app

Go to the App Store or Google Play Store and download TipsYou. The app is 100% free.

Minute 2: Create your account

Three options to sign up: Email, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. Enter your name and date of birth.

Minute 3: Verify your identity (Stripe)

Stripe is our certified payment partner — TipsYou doesn't store any documents.

1. The app redirects you to Stripe's verification page
2. Choose your ID type (National ID or Passport)
3. Take a front/back photo of your document
4. Take a selfie to confirm your identity
5. Stripe verifies automatically — usually instant

Minute 4: Get your QR code

Once verified, your personal QR code is available in the "My QR Code" tab. You can display it, download it, or share it.

Minute 5: Install it and start

Print your QR code and place it where your customers will see it: on the table, at the counter, on your delivery bag, or on your badge.

How the customer pays
